Victims may experience fear, stress and confusion as they navigate through the Criminal Justice System. Victim advocates can provide support, information and guide victims in obtaining services they may not know about. It can be reassuring to the victims when they learn there are community resources to ensure their safety, and assistance to aid their recovery from the impact of crime.
